When registering via email or Firebase Google OAuth, you agree to provide complete, truthful, and accurate information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

• Room Allocation: Rooms displayed on ApnaRooms are subject to availability. Bookings are confirmed upon agreement and payment of advance token money.
• Payment Methods: ApnaRooms supports offline payments (cash receipts, direct UPI, bank transfer) as well as online payment gateway processing via Razorpay.
• Monthly Rent & Bills: Rent invoices are generated on the 1st of each calendar month. Payments must be settled by the due date specified on the invoice to avoid late charges.
• Digital Receipts: Verified payment records and downloadable digital invoices are generated automatically inside your tenant dashboard.
• Security Deposit: Security deposits are held as financial protection against property damage, unpaid utility bills, or breach of lock-in terms. Deposits are refundable via bank transfer post move-out inspection.

To ensure a safe, studious, and harmonious living environment for LPU students, residents must adhere to basic rules:

• Strict prohibition of illegal substances, weapons, explosives, or hazardous items inside PG premises.
• Observance of quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
• Prior registration and approval from PG management for overnight visitors.
• Maintenance of property hygiene, room equipment, and common areas.

In compliance with directives issued by the Punjab Police department for Phagwara and Jalandhar districts, all residents are mandated to submit identity documents (Aadhaar / Passport / LPU Student ID).

ApnaRooms generates structured National & International Police Verification PDF forms. Submission of fraudulent documents constitutes a criminal offense under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Tenants wishing to checkout must provide a minimum 30-day written move-out notice via the dashboard or to property management.

Security deposit refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days following final inspection and deduction of legitimate unpaid utility dues or damage repair costs.

ApnaRooms operates as a technology facilitator and digital management platform connecting tenants, PG property owners, and service providers. ApnaRooms is not a direct real estate broker or landlord.

All brand assets, software code, UI design systems, logos, databases, and content on apnarooms.in are the exclusive intellectual property of Saksham Shakya / ApnaRooms.

To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, ApnaRooms shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, personal property loss, or third-party dispute outside reasonable operational control.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Phagwara / Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

By accepting these Terms of Use, you provide express digital consent under Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023 for ApnaRooms to process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts for serious breach of house rules, submission of forged KYC identity documents, or non-payment of legitimate rent dues.
